Everyone has such good jobs. I wonder why i'm still unemployed. With a Geography major and a geology minor i would expect to get at least something over 15$ a hour. Yet i find myself only getting accepted to 9$ an hour jobs which cant fund crap.Damn

Maybe you are over qualified for the jobs you are applying for ? I wish you luck man. Sucks to hear you have such a nice education but dont have the opportunity to use it.

Yes, I have listed my resume on careerbuilder and monster and job search. There isn't really that much i can find out where i'm at. It's not like i live in the middle of nowhere. I live an hour outside L.A and don't have much to pick at. I'm just getting desperate and applying for whatever.

Honestly I would go Air Force. Those guys used to get extra pay for staying on our bases for "substandard accommodations".

Yea I can believe that. 35 years ago I paid $8 an hour for general labor. I refinished homes. That was 1975. General labor should be paying at least $15 today in the midwest cost adjusted for the coasts. IMHO. With a college degree you should be starting over $20. IMHO. Our economy can not keep taking from those that already are underpaid.
