Good question. Lots of blanks to fill before you get an answer though. Are you looking for the estimated engine airflow calculation by itself or the combined turbo and engine formula based on compression ratio and PR of variable turbo's? Are you looking for a volumetric efficiency calculation, actual cfm, or...?

I'm sure that could vary a good bit on a turbo engine. You are asking about a turbo 8:1 engine?

    2.972 L
    7000 rpm
    85% volumetric efficiency
    12 psig (26.7 psia)

I get an air flow of 568 CFM

    How did I get there?

    [ displacement (181.6 cubic inch) x engine speed (7000 rpm) x 0.5 x volumetric efficiency x Pressure Ratio ((12 psi + 14.7) / 14.7) ] / 1728

    Or -

    Air flow rate = CID x RPM x 0.5 x VE x PR / 1728

The 0.5 comes from the the fact that a 4-stroke engine fills each cylinder every other revolution

1728 converts cubic inches to cubic feet
