Tough Mudder???

I've heard of one that takes place in England that people come from all over the world for. I think it'd be fun.

My girlfriend did one of those last year and is going to be doing one here pretty soon. She said it was a blast and wasn't nearly as hard as she thought it was going to be.

being "in shape" is only half the battle. my buddy has a video of him crawling through a mud pit while trying to avoid electrified wires hanging over it. it's a LOT more than just being "in good shape".

Not really - good shape is enough. Hell our hot accountant did TM wearing her Hello Kitty t-shirt and she has no upper body strength. None of the obstacles are particularly difficult or require a ton of strength or conditioning. Good general cardio and you will be fine.

Yep same one. It's just not that hard. Keep in mind she's a marathon runner, so her cardio is awesome, but she didn't have any trouble.

Of course, if you're trying to push the pace or want to win, it's going to be hard.

Ha OK, well I assume someone thinking about doing this has at least some distance running experience. Even a decent half-marathon and I think you'd be golden.
