Political BS at it's best. Suing the city because they are being too efficient... More like the contractors are pissed they aren't being overpaid to do the work anymore.

I despise FedEx. They are beyond inefficient. One time I had documents sent to me Next Day from New Jersey.

The documents left New Jersey, went to Tennessee, went to Ohio, went back to Tennessee, went some place else, before it finally came to PA 3 days later.... and again this was supposed to be a Next Day package.

So it is finally out for delivery and guess what? The driver doesn't even attempt to stop at my house. I watched him drive by. I called Customer Service and bitched them out and they were all like, "Well you can drive to our depot to pick it up." I went off more and told them I did not have it next day aired to have to go pick it up, and it was already 2 days late. She said the driver "attempted delivery but no one was home." To which I replied BULLSHIT. She told me I didn't have to be vulgar to which I told her I wouldn't be if this was only the first time I have had trouble with them, but considering it was about the 10th problem I was more than pissed.

Pretty much, fuck FedEx.

My parents house in Kentucky has about a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway (downhill from both sides to a creek). even on nice days FedEx might just pull up, give a small honk and drive on claiming they attempted delivery (if you are upstairs at the back of the house you cant hear a small honk). heaven forbid there was any snow on the driveway, they wouldnt even try then. the UPS guy (always had the same driver) would always come down the driveway, and if it had too much snow and he wasnt sure he would get back out he would park the truck out at the top of the driveway at the street and walk any packages to the house (he also always had treats for the dogs who knew exactly who he was).

I'm lucky here. I have dealt with my UPS driver for many years from dealing with him at previous jobs. His residential area covers my area so I always know I won't have a problem with delivery from him. In fact he saw me outside yesterday and stopped to talk to me to see if I have had any luck in my job search.

But still, fuck FedEx.
