Fairly accurate depiction of the Euro, imho. It's a great idea in theory--but the countries of southern Europe all tend to be wankers when it comes to money.

As to the Confederate flag, well let's just say that the popularity of it would be still declining--if our current administration didn't have an uncanny knack for creating racial strife. The unfortunate reality of the situation is that ANY black person--no matter how eminently qualified to be POTUS, will probably ever be elected. The truly intellectually capable and morally upstanding ones are "not black enough" and the others (and arguably ALL, thanks to Obama) will be seen as contributory factors to a decline in race relations. Basically, 8 years of regression instead of progress on this front, which was (if I can quote myself from 2008) the one point of light I was hoping for from this administration. A golden opportunity to flush the bigoted, antiquated notions of a "glass ceiling" and "the man keeping the black people down"--down the drain. I cannot begin to express the incalculable damage that has been done. We might as well have elected Goebbels in the hopes that he'd improve relations with the Jews.
