Nah. What's REALLY demotivating is all the people who think that I'm some kind of tin-foil-hat wearing, conspiracy nutbag because of my aversion to social media.

Of course....none of THOSE people knows someone who has been issued a death warrant by Daesh.

it must be nice to work in an environment where 90% of communication and news isn't passed around by social media. the DOD's reliance upon it for networking/communication is, in many aspects, shocking and alarming. Yet when someone dares question the status-quo, the prudence thereof, or dares to bring up 4th amendment rights in light of the recent Snowden leaks....well anyways...suffice it to say, I'm sufficiently demotivated.

probably the best reason ever to name your kid john smith, michael jones, richard brown, etc. not that i would want a john-doe name--nor my kids--but obscurity is a great defense (in this case).

whenever I go somewhere that they have to look up my name and I give it to the person at the desk or whatever they always sigh. then it's, "dude, there's 400 of you...." and it takes an hour to find me. just sucks.
