Well, the kid got suspended from school, and cannot drive to school for 30 days due to his honesty. They wouldn't even let him drive his car off of school property and had his parents retrieve the car.

Of course the school is going to scream "zero tolerance", but why is no line between zero tolerance and common sense?

that's the point of "zero tolerance". it keeps the idiots in our gov't school system from having to think and exercise any judgement what so ever.
