I'm a fan of purple...

I am unusual, I will give you that. I like it that way. 7 billion people in the world...I try to be unique. And plenty of people disagree with me about everything--on principle. My experience has been that the vast majority of those people have not rationally deduced the implications of their own contrary opinions. Disagreeing with me--or anyone anywhere--is just fine, I even encourage it. All that I ask is that you have a REASON for why you believe/think differently, and that you are willing to engage with someone about why you feel that way. If you can't at least do that...then your opinions are worthless.

And this applies to politics, religion, taste in automobiles, favorite colors, music, and damn near everything.
