i'm not here to open a political debate. i just thought this was interesting. this article leads me to believe that those who are politically aligned outside ~ 2 standard deviations probably have deep-seated psychological/physiological issues that would probably behoove them to get professionally checked.

what i didn't see in the article was any results detailing political correctness. i get that conservatives are more repulsed by things...but then why it is that a liberal would want someone to alter words/behavior/images/etc on the basis of something that isn't even necessarily personally offensive? what biological mechanism plays into a hyperactive concern for the feelings of others--with or without due cause?
