If she blew more bubbles, which she must have done after being warned not to, then she got what she wanted, arrested. To me, it looked like some little kid being told not to do something and they do it anyways. The parent should then tan the backside of the kid until they learn to listen. These kids haven't learned to listen yet.

The problem with it is that if we always did what the guy in charge said, then we'd be in a very different world. Should she have listened to the cop? Possibly. Should he go around saying "I'm going to arrest you for assault if one of those bubbles touches me"? I don't think so. She's not harming anyone, in a public place, and the only reason she's face to face with a police officer in the first place is because a bunch of big wigs were in town and they didn't want people in certain public areas of the city due to 'security' concerns.

Honestly, if your country was trampling over individual rights like they're a joke, would you just take it because an authority figure told you to?

Flip that around.... yes the cop is there because of increased security, he has a reason to be there. Why is the girl there? To try and push those police and see how far they can go before they break. She invoked this. Now if a cop was walking in a park and she was blowing bubbles, then the cop would be out of place to tell her to stop. The cop couldn't leave, she could. She could go to the park and blow bubbles without being told not to. She is to blame for her own arrest for provoking the police after fair warning was given.
