"consequences will never be the same." lol!

    ok so....

one day, a proper english mum decides it would be nice if her husband invites one of his buddies from "the great war" to be the guest speaker at her ladies group's monthly tea. worried about his buddy's "colorful language", the husband decides to accompany the man to his wife's tea. after some brief introductions, the man is invited to share some of his war stories. agreeably, the man stands up and begins regaling his exploits in a THICK derby accent.

"vell we wuz flying spitfires across the channel when we sawv deese fokkers diving at us from 3 o'clock high. my buddy split right & i went left. doze fokkers tried to follow us, but we banked hard and got away. just as we were about lined up to shoot doze fokkers down, another group of fokkers starts shooting at us, and...."

alarmed that the man's language might offend, the husband interrupts at this point to explain that, "for those of you who don't know, fokker is a type of german aircraft."

"dez right," says the war vet, "boot on diz day, doze fokkers wuz flying messerschmitts."
