Looks like it. Some of the videos of the ones in Louisiana, looked more like a blackhole formed underground, lol.

I wonder if its similar to a cranberry bog, and they are actually draining/pumping it out. The hole didn't get bigger, and the flow didn't seem to change. I feel a sink hole would have increased flow until the void was filled and then stop. This just didn't stop at all. Plus all the soil underneath would have been very loose, so no reason why the hole wouldn't get bigger, unless it was on a rock bed.

the whrilpool lookes to be caused by a swollen/flooded river and probably going down the burrow of an animal like a fox or somethings that had another exit at some point lower than the embankment they were standing on

Can't find the Louisiana sinkhole video, but it was swallowing 50ft+ trees like they were toothpicks
