So I just saw a 3000gt fail on tv .. LT Joe Kenda episode " MR Violence" .. Sports a 94-96 SL in the episode several times .. The car is a staple of the episode as someone was murdered in the front seat .. Anyway .. 3/4 the way through the episode the cop calls it a Mitsubishi Eclipse ..

I had just put a new jdm gto badge on the back of my car and was washing it at the local car wash when a I guy came up and started talking to me. He said he had one of these and asked what year mine was. He then asked if mine also had the corvette engine......and I realized he thought I owned a pontiac.

it's worse when you don't have JDM badging and the person at the MITSUBISHI dealership thinks you're driving a pontiac.
