The Church itself is not paying income taxes, the EMPLOYEES are paying income taxes.

FICA requires the employer (the church) to contribute.

Brian as I said before I log into the IRS website once a month to .....I get what you are saying, but there is three areas I have to enter dollar amounts:

Employee
Employer
FICA
Fed

So the chruch IS pay too

Just to add... a "church" can't vote or have say, the citizens do.

The tax system is set up that if you are a true non-profit (all volunteers, no employees) you'll have zero overhead.

But the church is paying because it has a payroll. If it had no payroll it wouldn't have any taxes.
