LOL. Most of my friends are like that. You wouldn't believe the questions I got when I had the VR4 at meets, people would ask me all sorts of crazy shit and then say it looks hard to work on. /facepalm My Evo is going to be much harder to work on if I ever need to do anything. Pulling the trans requires pinching two critical hydraulic lines so you don't have to bleed them.

Pulling the trans in the Grand Prix requires dropping the engine cradle, or pulling the engine and trans as a unit.

Doing a Sump on an XF falcon (pic below) requires the whole engine to be pulled. Yup, just for a sump, whole K frame is welded to the body.

Its a GM thing. I changed the trans in my wifes 2000 Venture, had to drop the front sub frame. They want you to remove the frame, I just dropped it enough to pull the trans over the frame, its a suck job. Not as bad as doing the head gaskets though.
