Being a classic doesn't make it a good song. It just makes it old . What else did I post that didn't pass "the stealthee approval"?

"he's the dj i'm the rapper" is one of the greatest albums of the 80's...let alone of all time. rap's best days were when people would rap about shoes, clothes, what it's like being a teenager, etc. way WAY before all of the "i'm pop a cap in your ass" crap that came out during the 90's.

    p.s.

will smith can sing. he can enunciate. he uses vocal inflection and changes phrasing and speed for emphasis. he's no freddy mercury or steve perry; but his talent might as well be that good when compared with the likes of reh dogg, rebecca black, or t-payne.

It can't become a classic without being good. You just have bad taste.

80's rap was great. By far the best rap ever was and will every be. That still doesn't make Will Smith a good rapper/song writer. I personally barely consider "rap/hip hop" whatever it's called today, music. Almost all of it is just a simple beat with poorly written autotuned words.

Lol. Ok. Some people like their music with depth and substance. Some people like whatever bland/generic music pop culture tells you is "cool". I would label you the latter, sir . To each his own though.
