On the Facebook note. I had gotten an email about an attempted login to my Facebook account that I deactivated years ago after only having active for 5 minutes. I was skeptical of the email and went directly to Facebook to go through rather than click a link in a sketchy email.

After getting logged in I saw that the last attempted login had been a few years before from Madrid or something. I went in and fully deleted the account so I know if I get any other emails from them that they are in fact phishing.

Also, I heard today that Facebook is on the war path of banning people who don't use their real name, as in using nicknames. A local morning show host goes by Big Ric and apparently got an email from Facebook saying he needed to update his name to his proper name or his account would be banned. They got a call from a listener who stated he got banned for the same thing a month ago.

Good. Please permaban the shit out of my FB. FB needs to DIAF. I have palpable rage for FB, Google, Twitter, and all of their ilk. Notice how the homeless population in CA is on a sharp increase...because of the ridiculous inflation?

often people will counter with, "well X isn't a RIGHT.". to which you simply respond, "oh like owning a gun? then you would be ok with people exercising their 2nd Amendment without providing an ID?". heads will explode.
