I actually had that happen about that far away from me while I was standing on the throttle to keep up.

Apparently I jumped the moose just as I came abreast of him on the pipeline road of the plant's water treatment facility.

All I heard has huffing and limbs breaking as the big bastard ran through the dead-but-still-standing heavy brush next to me, and all I could see was broken branches and shit flying.

After about a quarter-mile, the ground got a little higher and the brush a little thinner, and he broke left away from me and I could see the big dummy for the silly moose that he was.
