I've vacuum the floor with the Dyson and then with the Kirby right after... and I was just f*cking amazed how much the Dyson missed/left. We paid just as much for the Kirby as the Dyson, that's why I said that.

i can argue the same thing about my dyson over a bagged anything. point is, some of it may be newness of the machine, some of it may be that a vacuum can't pick up everything when the floor is caked with debris. i know with a fresh bag on a bissel and hitting my whole house, i went back with my dyson DC07 and had to empty the cannister after just 1 room.

imho, unless it uses some type of centripetal force to remove dirt, it's not worth a damn. and dyson did it first (and imho still best). hell, i had to listen to people preach about oreck, and those suck donkey balls.

Kirby is bagged. Kirby head weighs a f*cking ton, while the Dyson is plastic. You can literally see the Kirby lift the carpet up, not the Dyson ever (this is a DC14). And no, my floor is not caked with debris LOL. I try to vacuum 3-4 times a week because of the cats and the fact so many people that come over are allergic to cats LOL.

Turboprops are the worst in sketchy conditions. Not only do you battle power lag, but the wings react a lot more to your power setting than jets from prop wash.
