You want demotivating? How about my week so far.

Monday I was merging onto a highway in the work F250. There was a slow semi truck in front of me so I went to move to the left lane to go around it and unfortunately, there was a car right in my blind spot and I ended up making contact with it. The truck is basically unharmed. The car made contact with the rear tire and dented the fender and scuffed the front bumper cover.

Tuesday I was halfway through my deliveries when I realized I had forgotten a box. I called the shop to tell them so they were aware of the situation and could figure out what the plan of action was. They told me it wasn't a big deal and they would just send it out UPS so I wouldn't have to go back out. Fast forward a few hours and I get a call saying that the customer is saying the HAD to have the package that day. Well, either the customer was being a pain in the ass and didn't realize they weren't going to get it till 7:00 and couldn't wait until the next morning, or the sales rep was a lying asshole and was just saying they had to have it because he does that shit all the time. Anyway, I ended up having a late night and didn't get home til close to 9.

Today, I got everything together and headed out. I had to drive about 3 hours to Louisville, OH because there was a cross up and we didn't get some gaskets transferred from another store. I was just starting to slow down to turn into a gas station and a deer ran right out in front of me and I hit it with the Silverado. Busted the grill and dented the bumper. I didn't know it at that time, but it also busted the mounts on the headlight. I was headed back to the shop this evening and noticed the headlight looked really low. When I inspected it closer is when I found that.

To top it all off, I went on Monday evening and played basketball with a bunch of friends. We played for about 2 hours. I haven't run like that in a LONG time. When I got up Tuesday morning I actually felt really good. Wasn't too sore or anything. Well sitting in the truck all day made me stiffen up bad. I can barely lift my legs. I had to grab ahold of my leg with my hand to move it earlier. LOL

Here's hoping the rest of my week goes to plan.
