Well the funny part is every guy in those videos almost perfectly fits the type that would drive a GTI. I swear there must be a docuhebag test that you have to ace before you can buy a GTI.

I stick with my original statement. Sure there are docuhey BMW owners, but I have met and dealt with normal, cool BMW owners. I have never met or seen a GTI owner that was not a total douche.

Guess I'm the opposite. I've known a lot of cool GTI owners (granted, I'm also in europe). But in the states (unlike in europe) BMW owners are usually douchenozzles.

I drive (A LOT) for work. I see GTI's and BMW's every day. The GTI drivers are the ones weaving in and out of traffic and being general jackasses. The BMW drivers are not near as bad.

that may apply to driving habits, but the ego is WAY bigger for BMW drivers. I honestly don't know how some of those people can fit their heads inside their own cars.

Again, I stand by my original statement. BMW owners are usually guys who could really care less about cars in general and just want a nice car. GTI owners like to think their car is on the level of that of BMW and the like while it isn't even close.
