"I hope you don't buy it," said Marchionne, during a talk and question-and-answer session that focused on the aftermath of the automotive bailouts, "because every time I sell one, it costs me $14,000."

"I'm honest enough to tell you that I'll make the car, I'll make it available, which is my requirement. I'll sell the limit of what I'm required to sell and not one more," Marchionne said. "If we build just those vehicles, we'll be back in Steve [Rattner's] successor's office in Washington asking for a second bailout, because we'll be bankrupt by Christmas"

Side note, the 500e is actually a lot of fun to drive. It's faster than the base 1.4 but slower than the Abarth. Shame they aren't viable.

As soon as I saw the Granny headline was from Florida, I was like of course. Apparently bat shit crazy is in the water down there.

Well it is Floraduh, there's never a shortage of stupid coming from that place.

And the sad thing is, i'll guarantee that each one of those individuals rates themselves as "above average" intelligence.

I consider myself of pedestrian intelligence by my own standards--and yet I look positively brilliant compared to them. Oh, and they're allowed to breed/vote. Just remember that the next time you try and elect someone; there's at least 2 stupefyingly mentally deficient people out there who are going to overrule your vote.
