    Unfortunately a lot was the way electronics had changed. The it breaks and you throw it away times. I remember when the place was pretty much nothing but parts. You could build anything from what was in there, it was awesome! But the way things were made changed. No longer did a VCR cost 800-2000 bucks so no need to repair. Just buy a new one. No doubt they had a big hand in their demise though.

    Oh, I remember when it was like that. They pretty much had a monopoly. They failed to adapt when Circuit City, Best Buy, and the like started popping up. Basically when electronics went from boutique type retailers to warehouse style.
