    Eric

I am sure it depends on the area in which the Wal-Mart is located and what demographic lies within that area. The Wal-Mart I go to (which isn't often) has pretty ordinary people. It's still nice to go to Target as it is just nicer but the Wal-Mart nearest me isn't bad. I am sure that if you went to the Wal-Mart in far northeast Omaha you find a much more unsavory crowd of customers. That piled with the shear number of Wal-Marts and the hand picked worst of the worst and that's what you come up with in that video!

I've migrated to buying 95% of non grocery items online. The only kind of stuff I used to buy at wally world was throw-away clothing I used to use for work.

Ammo. Seriously, buying in bulk still isn't reasonable yet.

Their Great Value brand buttermilk ranch dressing as well as Maruchen hot and spicy beef "cup of noddles."

I usually go to Shop N Save to buy most of my groceries to get the fuel perks.

Can't recall the last time I saw a double bacon cheeseburger out in the wilderness.

At any rate, I think a large part of it is a product of area. In a bigger city with more buying options, the more affluent can likely afford to go else where and even a lot of the normal folks can find other places to go to keep to a budget so they avoid Walmart. Alternatively in a smaller (or poorer) town, Walmart may literally be the only option for 60 miles to get some things. The tiny town in KY my older sister lives in is kinda like that..They have a gun store and a grocery store, but the grocery store carries just the bare essentials. Walmart at 10 miles away carries everything else that they may need or want, without having to drive an hour each way. While her situation is a bit more extreme compared to most, some smaller towns that may be all that they have because of competition being forced out of business or proximity to a public transit system or whatever.

Of course, sheer numbers of Walmarts across the country means that there's a large pool of potential People of Walmart to do something crazy or stupid and get their picture taken. (48xx Walmarts in the US this year.)

Maybe by "wilderness", he means the "Outback"?
