Although I agree, it's not quite that black & white. China also cuts corners on quality control. I half expected stadium/building collapses and other biblical construction failures. I expected everything to be "done" in Bejing, but I didn't trust that 200-2000 people would die over the course of the Olympics.

Russia, on the other hand, is trying to prove that Euro Trip is an accurate portrayal of eastern Europe.

Edit: Do I have this correct... Ray says 13Ts can't run 10s, dpartinvr4 wanted to prove him wrong, dpartinvr4 failed?

Let me be clear, Dillon has been a good sport about all of it!

He grew up around the corner from me.

And I don't think Ray said it couldn't be done, I think Dillon was trying to 'recreate' Ray's 15G glory days with 13Ts and therefore prove that anyone could do it.

edit: And it turns out that not just anyone could!

I don't remember, did Dillon even get the car running on the 13Ts? I remember not too long ago he decided to can the project and went with DR650s, but for some reason I vaguely recall him not even having it all together at that time.
