It's good for cosmetic purposes and a little helpful if you have a decent system.
I like having all the extra room. Not that I need it yet.
But I do expect headaches from the track. I haven't tried yet, but I imagine they'll give me a hard time about it.

OK I'm getting it now. Doing this right is a bit more work than I was originally thinking.

so, I see some drag cars with a headlight removed. do people put these switches behind the headlight and then just remove the light when they bring it to the drag strip?

Well all my stereo setting would get wiped unless I ran all the stereo components' constant wires directly to the battery, bypassing any switches.

Now let us say that we wanted to mount that into a tail light of a stealth and had the option to plug it in instead. Obviously the two main ones to the battery lead would need to connect.

How would you need to wire a jumper for the ignition coil and switch?

OK f*** it. I'm never going back to stock anyway; I just tore into the harness. Gonna tear out all the stuff I don't use any more and do push button start with internal / external cutoffs.

It will either be awesome or the car will never run again.

And while I'm at it, keyless ignition. Cause at this point why the hell not.

Is that any sort of rule violation?
