No, you have to push the clutch to start. That's my "neutral safety".

But you can wire in a reed switch that will allow the car to start only in neutral

I could, but don't really see the point. Is there some reason I should be concerned about this? A clutch safety seems fine.

wit a switch installed at the shifter you could bypass the clutch switch and this would allow you to start the car without needing to push in the clutch. with your set up not really a requirement.

If you install remote start it is a necessity.

In your scenario, just another step taken out of the equation, that's all.

The only thing I don't like is having to push the start button 3 times to start the engine. Is there a way to default to one-push start while retaining the option for a (potentially less convenient) 3-push start?

    Regardless, really bad ass.

I've been thinking about this and I'm not sure exactly what I want to do. Maybe:

With no clutch, 1st push is ACC, 2nd is ON.
With clutch, 1st push is ON, 2nd is START.
Push and hold starts car right away.

Just watched the video and pretty bad ass my friend.

I like the idea above, I want to be able to push the button and start. Or I could even go jet plane and hit two rocker switches then start.

What are you using for fuel prime with the push start or remote start?
