Is there any reason not to just choose the lightest spring available when running speed density? I can't think of one.

if it's open at idle you'll suck in unfiltered air, but i dont give a shit and use the lightest one anyways.

It'll never suck in air. Ever.

Pretty much what I was thinking. I don't think I give a shit either.

As long as it doesn’t leak under boost, and it shouldn’t so I’d probably do it. I guess it could flutter if it’s too loose IDK. I’m thinking of going to a lighter spring now that I have a recirculating BOV.

Wait wouldn’t it suck a bunch of unfiltered air under decel?

not necessarily, since on decel you're still blowing off (although very lightly). I think the only time it'll suck is when you suddenly open the throttle at idle, right before the BOV closes.

I don't have any flutter issues, and my tial correctly blows off when i partially lift from WOT.
