Listen, Alex, there are a couple schools of thought, here...there are those who believe the earth to be warming - while the evidence of this not as complete as some pretend, or prefer, we may grant general agreement on that point.

The division exists most glaringly between those who think humankind is to blame in equal measure with natural events, and coincidentally to an extent that demands a huge financial sacrifice and industry-crippling regulation.

The opposition is less-than-sure of man's role in things, and sees insufficient proofs to handicap industry and business with extraordinary economic burdens.

At the point where the evidence goes begging, those who doubt man's culpability are shy about the prospect of hardship, while the global-warming crowd insists the sacrifices be made, "just in case".

Now, we all have a point-of-view to defend or push, and you are in one crowd, doing what you do, and I am in the other, doing what I do.

So I will ask you this, instead-

What was your point/aim in posting about heat-records being broken, except to push your POV, as I push mine?
