I don't think anybody said that. Also I don't think anybody has denied that the earth has warmed up, just the reason has been the argument. Don't forget it was global cooling we were worried about before warming. We haven't been on this planet for even a blink compared to how long it's been able to support life. The continents have changed, the climate has changed A LOT. It will continue to change if we are here or not.

Global cooling was a worry due to abnormal solar activity. Global warming is due to us pissing upstream and thinking we'll get fresh water downstream, metaphorically speaking.

Exactly. These *records that are being broken by a degree or two (and sometimes in a tie) are from the late 1800's to the early to mid 1900's.
