    ECUflash Injector Scaling and Latency

What injectors and settings are you using?
Looking for a starting point for my 550cc denso purple tops.

    find your injector in here:
    Fuel Injector Lag Time

and start from there. Don't go WOT until you have verified the scaling using the o2 trims.

OK so the stock ROM for the stock 360cc injectors has latency values of:
    4.69V - 3.825ms
    7.03V - 1.770ms
    9.38V - .975ms
    11.72V - .705ms
    14.06V - .450ms
    16.41V - .300ms
    18.68V - .300ms

The injector rehab link there for what I think are my 550cc densos has the values:
    10V - 1.24ms
    11V - 1.04ms
    12V - .87ms
    13V - .75ms
    14V - .64ms
    15V - .55ms

The voltages don't really match up that well. What numbers should I plug into ECU flash to start with?

you can scale the left column to match the given voltages if you want, or you can just input the scalings that are close to the given voltages.

I rescaled the voltages, but like mentioned above there is probably little benefit to doing so. One thing to keep in mind is that as far as I know our ecu uses the lowest voltage cell for some of its cranking injector pulse width calculations, so the lowest voltage can affect how well your car starts, especially with large injectors.

I just changed the stock values to the ones given on the injector rehab site. There's no way you're car should run at <10 volts so you really don't need the low stock voltage numbers.

So we should keep the lowest voltage in, what about the latency then?

Oh that wasn't very clear when I reread it. Should we keep the lowwst voltage from the stock table in our modified table?

Ie have 4.69V -3.825ms then the values for our injectors in the other spots.

    Lightbulb

Well I think I may have solved this issue using a graphing calculator and a quadratic regression equation (seems to be a good fit for the data given) to extrapolate some of the low voltage lag times and match them up to the stock scale. Here's what I got for denso 550s:
    4.69V - 2.74ms
    7.03V - 1.97ms
    9.38V - 1.37ms
    11.72V - .92ms
    14.06V - .63ms
    16.41V - .49ms
    18.68V - .50ms
