LOL! Is that an option/cheat in the game? Or a glitch?

The only truly tested team of the entire bunch (Florida) just got beat the hell down by Louisville. It was disgusting listening to the talking heads pre-game. They were trying to think of ways Louisville could compete with the vastly superior athletes of the "SEC" (NOT "Florida"). I smiled when I saw the score was 30-10 and guffawed when I realized Florida was incapable of running a hurry-up offense when they absolutely had to. A team with a losing record in the B12 rolled into Tuscaloosa and beat big bad 'Bama. The same 'Bama that, coming into this season, everyone knew would be relatively down. You guys had a dumpster fire in the entire bottom half of the conference, even Mississippi State was a freaking fraud.

That A&M team only had to beat TWO BCS teams with a winning record this season to go 10-2 and earn a heisman. One of those wins came against the fraudulent Mississippi State team. Oh! Oh! They also managed to squeak by that 6-6 Ole Miss team that a terrible Texas team destroyed.

Deeply flawed LSU loses to the second best team in a weak ACC. They also barely beat that same Ole Miss team... Surely you guys expected LSU to "eat Clemson's lunch"... 445 yards later...

So of the 6 SEC teams in the top 10, 4 have played and gone 2-2 (both losses against lower ranked opponents). I like OU against A&M. I think ND will compete with 'Bama and has the potential to win. Unlike last year, at least I'll get to watch an MNC. Go Notre Dame!!!!
This is a product of three things:

    1) The SEC is obviously in a down year. We've discussed this already and it's obvious that, top to bottom, the Big 12 is the best conference this year.
    2) Conferences are closing in on the talent gap that the SEC has traditionally held, and they're doing it by recruiting speed like the SEC always has. Just look at the Michigan game a couple days ago as proof of this. A few years ago the Big Televen couldn't hang. Now that these teams are recruiting more speed on defense and playing more dual-threat quarterbacks, their schemes are more effective against the SEC on both sides of the ball.
    3) Many of the traditional SEC teams have gone back to a more power-oriented, pro-style offense to be more competitive in SEC play. This style, while effective in conference matchups, is less ideal against out-of-conference opponents that typically run some form of a spread offense with a fast quarterback that forces defenses to play 11-on-11. This is why TAMU handled Alabama so easily.

I still think ND played a tougher schedule than most and they won so they deserve to go and I'm no Bama fan by a long shot but they'll crush ND and Suitcase Saban will off to the NFL again afterwards.

I don't think Saban is going to go anywhere. He has a ton of starters back next year and should be extremely competitive in the SEC and MNC race. And he makes over 5 mil per year. He's just got no reason to leave. Alabama is the best college coaching job there is, probably the best coaching job there is at any level of football. As well as, he's getting up there in age, dude is 61 now. He's singing his swan song, IMO.

he failed in the NFL last time and I don't think his ego likes that very much. besides what else can he do at Alabama? 3 national titles in what 5 or 6 years? it's only down here from here. Now I haven't heard anything about anyone looking at him for the job in the NFL but it wouldn't shock me in the least to see him load up all his shit that he never unpacked in the first place and leave

The failing is precisely why I don't see him going back. He will never fail at Alabama, and gets 5mil+ a year to do so. He is Bear Bryant Jr. in the eyes of those fans. There simply is no reason for him to leave. It is suitcase Saban, so nothing is guaranteed, but I just don't see it happening.
