Real question marks for Texas going into 2012? Can the QB position go from abysmal to competent and can our tradition of amazingly clutch kickers continue?

The freshman kickers on campus haven't been impressing thus far...

If UT can get a half decent QB, you'll have something. You've got the rb's, and certainly the D. Just need that strong QB that pulls it all together.

WV made a huge splash at the B12 media days. I'm so freaking excited. Got a line on some killer season tickets, that I'm seriously considering buying.

I love my season tickets for the Huskers. If you can get great seats, do it!

Curious, how much are your season tix? The ones I'm looking at are $2,300. They're pretty good seats, but far from the best. WVU is different. All seats are $395 for the season, BUT, in order to even be allowed to purchase them you have to make a donation to the Mountaineer Athletic Club. Different seats have minimum donation levels, and that does not guarantee you'll even end up in that section if you're a new MAC member. They go by seniority, and amount of donation, for priority seating. To get just "good" seats, you're looking at a minimum of $1,100 per seat. However, 80% of your MAC donation is tax deductible, so that eases the sting.

Well it's kinda similar to that here but we basically have an exemption because my father is handi-capped so we don't have to do the whole donation thing. What I do know is we're looking at around $140 per game for 2 seats and parking in the lot nearest the stadium. Now on the other hand I did find out these last few months that to be able to get into our parking lot you would normally have to donate a minimum of $5K per year. I have no idea as far as what the donation would be for our seats, but they are front row in the end zone about 10 yards in from the sideline. While the new north end of the stadium was under construction though, we had literally the best seats in the house, field-level at the corner of the endzone right under the student section. I literally had a 2 ft high fence and padding between me and the field and on a few occasions actually celebrated touchdowns with the players . That section is now the Sideline Club and I am sure there is a $5K or so minimum annual donation to sit there.

P.S. I forgot to mention, and I don't know what it is like for WVU, but the Huskers have sold out every game since the 60s so there is a LONG waiting list for season tickets, so if a Husker fan was in your situation it could end up being a once in decade chance for tickets.

Just picked up season tickets. Woohoo!! So excited.

Brian - the woman I bought tickets from has 2 more if you know anyone interested. Section 103, row 9 (9 rows off the field). I bought seats 126 & 127, which are the aisle seats. These two would be the two beside that. She wants $2,000 if you know anyone.

Adam, WVU has ZERO tickets for the Texas game. None are available to the general public. However, your ticket office is selling them.

I'll see if anyone I know is interested. I wish I had the cash to get them myself. I am going to try to make at least a few games this year though.
