K-State is going to F-up SOMEBODY'S season (gee, wonder who), but I doubt they improve on last years 10 win mark.

K-State had better pray to the football gods that Klein doesn't get hurt. Beyond Klein, the only other play maker on the team is Hubert. There's realistically no passing game, Klein threw for what like 1900 yards, 13 td's, and 6 int's last year? I look for them to go 6-3(in conference), with losses to WV, Oklahoma, and UT. There's not enough offense, or defense, to stop WV, and the game is in Morgantown. Oklahoma crushed them last year; I don't think that's gonna change. There's not enough offense to get through UT's defense, and UT will have an offense by Dec. 1.

Until I see otherwise, Texas is going to lose to K-State. They've eaten my soul too many times in a row, in too many sports, to even pretend to get my hopes up.

If there's a coach I don't like it's Saban. He voted OSU 6th or so in the final polls so he'd have a higher chance of playing in the championship game.

Fuckers Art Briles and Mike Leach (although I generally like Leach) voted Texas #5 and OU #1 in the 2008 coaches poll where OU took 2nd place and Texas 3rd by .013 points. That tiny margin put OU into the B12CG to face ANOTHER team Texas beat by double digits (Mizzou).

    Still sour I see.

Then again, I'll never forgive the 2004 snub of Auburn, either.

Oh don't get started about snubs, K-state is the most snubbed team in the history of the BCS. Passed over last year in favor of two >10 ranked teams, beating Oklahoma in the 2003 Big 12 championship and Oklahome went on to the championship game, and to top it all off losing one game in 98 that kept them not only out of the championship game, but also out of any BCS bowl game.

Saw that on FB yesterday...I refrained from posting it. I'm seriously considering making the trip to Austin.

In other news, Geno Smith named as B12 preseason, offensive, player of the year.
