Poor LATech. Damn near came back against A&M... If Texas had ended up in the Cotton Bowl vs A&M, I think we might have declined and made up some arbitrary bowl against LATech, LOL.

I don't have any sympathy for them(other than the kids who got screwed). Trying to play their 9-3 record, in a 3rd rate conference, for a better bowl bid was irresponsible at best.

Hell, the match-up they were getting was a dream for the fans. In-State rivalry against a solid UL-Monroe. The AD should've been fired on the spot.

I give them credit for that game against aTm. That game was 39-16 at halftime. To only lose by 2 is damn impressive against the Aggies (of this year).

Insult to injury now that Dykes bolted for Cal.

Sigh. First Muschamp, now Harsin. Lots of grumblings about Harsin not liking working under Mack, very similar to what was leaking when Muschamp left. The only good news is that Major Applewhite was the co-OC, so he should be able to transition into play calling duties. Harsin and the offense (when Ash was healthy) was the best part of this team and the only part that overachieved at all.

We have a coaching spot to fill and hopefully we bring in someone to mold our raw, undisciplined, athletic LB's into what they were recruited to be... But I'm sure we'll bring in a RB coach or a second TE coach or something else we don't need nearly as badly as a LB coach.

DC/LB coach Diaz is apparently being considered for the Florida International HC job, so maybe he'll take a pay cut and get the hell out.

It would be nice if Mack would leave too, but I don't see any chance.
