    The Killer Years of F1



    Really good but incredibly sad. A documentary about F1 and the total lack of safety when it first began. Up to 15 drivers would die in a season and the race would continue, also 57 spectators in one race.

    I just don't see how people could think "driver deaths are normal, thats the sport." A really good quote from the movie is from the Lotus designer, how he couldn't get close to his drivers because he knew they would die.

    Great documentary...

    The last part was really hard to watch.

    I remember watching much of the Stewart battle for safety when I was a kid.
