    Good replacement for tweeters?

    Think these would work well?

I'm not using factory anything. Harness was all hacked up, so I just ran all new wire to door and rear speakers. Would do the same for dash. I was debating on running some component 6.5's in the door and running the tweeters in the dash. I have some 2way RF Prime 6.5's now.

Thinking it might be cool to go this route instead. I could run the 2.5's and 6.5's straight off the stereo and the 6x9's and 8's off the amp.

If you get them let us know how they work. I plan to replace a bunch of stuff soon but I was thinking of getting a combo thing from crutchfield that had tweeters and crossover already and just make them work in the stock dash location. Build something out of the old stock speakers to hold the small tweeters.

If you are going to use the stereo to power the dash and door speakers with front and rear speaker outputs will you be able to adjust the fade from front to back? I guess you would be able to adjust the amp to adjust the rear speakers vs the fronts. You would just have to get out of the car to adjust it though unless it had an adjustment on the stereo for the non powered outputs.

Having bought what I thought would work once upon a time... I think those will be too big. They look pretty "deep", and you might have to cut off the square mounting thing. But you didn't say what kind of look you were going for, I want "stock" appearance.

I bought these, and after cutting/grinding I got them to fit LOL. Vifa NE85W-04 2-1/2" Full Range Woofer 264-1052

I should have bought these: Vifa NE65W-04 2" Full Range Woofer 264-1046

Or these: Vifa TC6FC00-04 2" Full Range Paper Cone Woofer 4 Ohm 264-1124

Just looked it up on PartExpress, you won't be able to fit them in the dash (too deep)... unless you modify the dash or speaker housing. On the Vifa, I was able to grind off some of the metal basket... your doesn't appear to have that. You definitely won't be able to fit them in with the dash still in the car.

They are great little speakers; I have them paired with Precision Power tweeters, and the potential of this combo will overpower any need you might have, I think.

    I am satisfied +.
