    96 3000GT TT Frankenstein build...

In September of 2010 I bought my first 3000GT, shortly after it was hit while parked by a man running from the police and since he was in a stolen vehicle I got screwed... No order to repair my car was made and after that it was down hill. The water pump seized up and the water pump pulley broke.

After this I decided to leave the body alone and focus on the performance. Fortunately when I bought the car it had some awesome supporting modifications.

    JIC Coilovers

    3SX control arms

Fidenza Aluminum Flywheel and Spec II clutch

It also had an HKS filter and an Exhaust system.

Hey guys, so I got my car on the Dyno at FSR and well.. Numbers are Numbers... I'm highly disappointed in the numbers but here they are...

    165 HP @5700 RPM's
    170 ft-lbs @ 4400 RPM's

And of course here are the Videos from first to last pull.

First FSR Dyno pull 3000GT N/A- YouTube
Second FSR Dyno pull 3000GT N/A - YouTube
Third FSR Dyno pull 3000GT N/A - YouTube

From what the data shows a few things are happening. According to my A/F Ratio I dont have an ECU problem. FSR thinks I might have floating lifters or clogged cat's... Who knows at this point. I'm not sure how this can be verified until I pull some things apart.

I'm wondering if it could be the VICS but I thought of this after I got home so I cant unplug it to see the changes... Oh well.

Ok so here is my latest problem...

I thought I had a 4 bolt when I really had a 2 bolt so my oil pan doesn't match up.

Here is a look at the difference of the oil pans...

Other updates, I have installed the transmission and have the axles in and what not. The other thing I'll be completing soon is the 0 gauge install for my future battery relocation and some interior features such as removing some more TAN pieces to install grey or gray... :smt009 not sure what the difference is right now... meh.

If anyone has the 2 bolt TT Oil Pan I need and is willing to TRADE for my 4 Bolt TT oil pan please give me a call as I need this so I can install the rest of my crap... Need this done in the next 3 or 4 days thanks! If you dont want to trade but are willing to let it go I can afford no more then $30 bucks right now =/ Thanks!

Front and rear turbo installed, wire harness and ecu installed. Passenger side intercooler installed and almost done with driverside. Just need to cut open the opening.

I dont think im going to find a 2 bolt oil pan with a 4 bolt oil pump so I hacked the oil return fittings off the 4 bolt oil pan I had to get this project done. I just need two tack welds and Im ready to BOOST!!!

Here are some pictures with updates!

Driver side intercooler and oil cooler installed.

Oil pan installed and oil lines connected.

Had to mod the front one because the only flat surface that I could drill and secure the oil line was further from the oem location by about 1.5 inches.

Front and rear turbo's installed with cooling/oil lines as well as wastegates.

EGR block off plate installed. I still need the one for the plenum but I can improvise for now.

If I can sneak back into the garage I'll install the dash and finish up the A/C, Alternator and radiator.

Well, I snuck back in the garage and pretty much finished up everything I could. I was hoping to be able to take it off the jack stands but it turns out someone sold me the wrong down pipe which really sucks. Although it is a FED spec it doesnt bold up to the rear turbo flange as mine is strait not slanted. :smt011

Alternator, A/C compressor, belt, radiator, and all the hoses I had clamps for are on.

All I need now is a TT FPR/FP as well as a down pipe or mod mine so it works.

    Another update!

Still need the copper washers for the banjo bolts.

The Down-pipe got a minor adjustment.

And looks like everything is almost done! (Thanks to Cho for stopping by with a FPR and keeping me motivated.)

I also managed to get my dash installed as well as my new 0/1 gauge power wire for my AMPS as well as my future Hot Wire Fuel Pump or even the battery relocation to the rear.

    PS:
Bad news today but its not mine to share... We'll see if it comes to the boards...
