Vortec (Super) Fuel Management Unit.

Anyone used these on our cars or is anyone here experienced with one of these?

My friend Matt just installed one in a customers car, and it spiked my curiousity. (Built 420A Turbo Eclipse)

I hate them. FMU's are a glorified FPR, and while it's better than not tuning at all, it's not a replacement for an actual tune by ECU or other means. If I was ever forced to use one, I'd use the BeGi. Note the word forced. Using it on something with real tuning hardware available, like an Eclipse, doesn't make any sense unless the owner is dirt poor........in that case, he shouldn't be in that position to need fuel tuning capability.

Its the 420Gay which doesnt quite have the tuning equipment like the 4G63 does, and i guess its what the customer wanted.
