Going to Kansas City - Suggestions?

It has been a little while since I have been. Just going there for shits and giggles. Any places that I should definitely check out? I think we'll be taking a new Camaro to a drag strip (any recommendations?). Also, parts of town to avoid if at all possible?

Hmm, if you're a baseball fan, you could go see the Royals play. Kauffman stadium has always been one of my fav ballparks. Head down to the Plaza and check it out if you've never been. It's been years since I've been there but I'm sure it's still a really nice area.

Baseball doesn't do a whole lot for me. I like going downtown after I get off work to watch the College World Series during that time of year (Omaha). However, that is mainly for the crowds and partying. Don't think I have ever heard of the Plaza before. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

The plaza is still nice. KCIR shut down for good last year, so there is no dragstrip in KC any longer. Heartland Park in Topeka is the nearest strip.
