    Clutch Masters 850 Series

Well, I received my clutch today from Austin@STM.

It is a 850 series (8.5'') Stage7/8 - 2 Lightweight Unsprung Race Disks Remachined clutch cover and flywheel.

Here is his picture of it, I took a pic but his is better quality.

Anyways, I haven't really heard of that many people on the forum using a Clutch Masters clutch.

Once I get everything done, I will reply to this thread posting a review on the clutch so others can get a nice idea of the clutch.

    Thanks for viewings.

I know it's a long shot and probably a no but if you want to sell this clutch let me know. I need to upgrade this spring. I have a SB pressure plate I was going to get a Stage 4 FE disc for $395 and run that but have reconsidered my clutch plans by the time I upgrade to bigger turbos for 700+AWHP. I don't want to buy everything twice so I think I'm going to bite the bullet on an expensive twin clutch.

Sorry buddy, you were right on the long shot part :P

Give STM a call, I am sure they can get you a killer deal on a Clutchmasters.

I figured as much. Lol. I'll get it some thought. I'm strung out between too many mods trying to get ready for a bigger build towards the end of this year. It may be worth it to spend the $400 on the clutch and another $1800 next year to go for bigger tq numbers than it will hold. I'm torn. I have nearly all of the parts drivetrain and boost related to fix my car right now. I have a turbo sent off to Matt expecting an expensive bill on months down the road I'm sure depending on how long a one-off turbine wheel takes to get made which I'm hoping it just ends up needing a new shaft, seals, and balance. Between that, wanting to get the head lift fix, a new clutch, custom manifolds, custom FMIC, upgraded fuel lines, and probably other odds and ends it's going to be expensive potentially $7-9k which may over the course of the year fit in the budget.
