Front output shaft variations

How many variations of the AWD front output shaft are there?

Is it just 18 spline vs 25 spline? Or is it 18 spline, 25 spline 5 speed, and 25 spline 6 speed?

Just 2. 18 or 25. The 25's are all the same no matter 5 or 6 speed

I think there are three versions:

IIRC the front output shafts for FWD are different than vr4/TTs, too.

Edit: I realized that I was referring to the axle/output shaft lengths.

He said "front output shaft"... your answer would indicate you read "output shaft"

There are four... 18 spline 5 speed, 25 spline 5 speed, USDM 6 speed, and JDM 6 speed.
