Every pitbull I've ever interacted with has been amazing, but I won't lie, when I was with my 7 year old nephew the other day and we walked past an unleashed pit bull, I was staring at the dog expecting the worst.

I'm that way with pretty much any unleashed dog I see. I actually had a jack russell try to attack my pit bull last night while I was walking her. She didn't show any aggression towards it even though it charged her and then started snapping/barking at her from maybe 2 feet away.

I, on the other hand, was trying to kick the life out of it. It eventually ran away.

My neighbor had a pit chained up in their backyard. One of my Yorkies, Winston, would always run over and greet her with no problems. However, they never paid any attention to that dog, which leads me to believe that they kept it as a status symbol.
