Most people do have the rental rider because they don't take the time to look at what they're actually paying for. I do, and I get rid of all the stuff I don't need (effectively lowering my rate).

I have rental car coverage, however, the guys insurance is covering the rental for me. My Jeep won't be done for at least 3 weeks due to a parts shortage. I am also not paying a deductible. My insurance said if the other person insurance wants to handle the claim then let them. The fellow that hit me is taking full responsibility for the accident. I feel bad for him, he's really concerned that he hurt us.

My guess is, they want to be as accommodating as possible. Considering this happened on a hospitals property by one of their workers and they don't want a lawsuit.

They, (hospital), had the audacity to ask me for a deposit for the medical bills. I told them that I wouldn't be paying for a dime of it.
