Will it run high impedance/saturation injectors? I have a set of Injector Dynamics ID725 injectors that took a long time to locate at the right price lol.

Hmmmmmm..... The DOHC ECU ran HIGH impedance injectors. The VR4 ran LOW impedance injectors. The main difference was that Mitsubishi added the injector resistor pack in line with the injectors. Additionally, according to the manual, the engine cranking drive times are different between the HIGH impedance (36.1-54.1 ms @ 20°C) and the LOW impedance (23.3-34.9 ms @ 20°C) and the engine running drive times are different between the HIGH impedance (2.2-3.4 ms @ 20°C, ECT 80-95 °C, 2,500 RPM) and the LOW impedance (1.5-2.7 ms @ 20°C, ECT 80-95 °C, 2,500 RPM). There is also a note about when the vehicle is new (less than 500 miles) that the injector drive times might be 10% higher. This is obviously related to fuel trims.

Greg, can you provide some input here as to whether or not this can be handled in a flash table?

When deciding on a replacement capacitor, many factors had to be taken into account including the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) and the impedance. Additionally there was a limitation on the physical size of the capacitor.
As a 30 year career HW designer I'm very familiar with the factors that you've considered including how to specify electrolytic capacitors. It's clear to me that you are offering a solution as professional as could possibly be done by anyone including the original manufacturer. Great job

I was an electronics guru myself back in the day. I built robots and remote drive automation equipment for AI Electronics and Robotics, Celestica, and Avaya. You guys did a really great job! Thanks from the 3S owners in my chapter and region. Can't wait to play with one!

Of course it can. No idea what scaling or latencies to use though.

Don't forget to eliminate the resistor pack from the firewall.

I will look into it and see if I can find someone local willing to tune it. Not up to that sort of thing yet. If it can be done with tools I'm all over it LOL..... but tuning is over my head.

Cool, Will be removing the resistor and soldering all wires together.
