    Bringing spare rotors?

Hey guys, I'm getting ready for the 3SNG road course and I was thinking of getting some spare rotors in case I crack or severely warp one. I'm bringing extra pads but I've never road coursed the car so I don't know it it's a legit concern or not really necessary.
Also - should I get a full set of rotors or just 1 front and 1 back? Thanks!

Yes extra pads and rotors are a must. Ask maximal, Lawdogg, big Pete, or b-man (cracked rotor, brake pad fade) of their experiences. Bring extra brake fluid if you bleed between sessions or lunch.

Spare front rotor for sure...2 to be safe. I cracked one last year and was lucky enough that Maddog brought one as I wasn't smart enough to. I won't be making that mistake again.

As for pads you should be set as long as you have a relatively new pair of something quality. I highly suggest carbotech. I sell them so this may seem like a shameless plug but get them wherever you can because they're the best out there.

AX6 will probably be good if you're starting out and are very streetable. XP8's are better but are dusty, noisy, and probably a bit overkill for your first track day. Especially on a track like the NG one that isn't killer on brakes.

I have an entire 1g TT brake IPS 'street' brake setup with rotors, pads, and fluid Im trying to get rid of. Paid 250 a few black fridays ago, would do 180 shipped since its so damn heavy.

Not trying to sell it ya know, just sayin' :suspect2:

Thanks everyone, I'm picking up a front and a rear just in case. I have good pads on there now but I'm just going to grab some cheap semi-metallics so I can still autocross the next day if something happens.

I would totally jump on that deal, except... I switched to 2g TT brakes

I won't be buying a spare alternator... why, what happened to yours?
