Actually, come to think of it, I think Gmail is now the popular public/free email in the world. Wish I would've bought stock early on in Google.

Love chrome. Made the switch a few months back from IE. Never looking back. Soooo much faster.

They use IE where I work by default. Every coworker I know has downloaded Chrome though. Much more fluid and fast. My company is also currently working on switching our intranet to run on Chrome so we can ditch IE.

sorry, but you'll have to pry firefox from my cold, dead hands.

i think the numbers here are skewed by two things:

1. as noted in the article, regions such as south america heavily skew the results.

2. MS has stopped being competitive in the mobile market, whereas google has taking a big jump in market-share.

either way though, i don't like the idea of having even MORE ads targeting me--and i don't like supporting hegemonic power. i use an MS OS, i use FF for browsing, and i use google for searching.

exactly... its all bs.

Chrome is running around pre browsing all your favorites... thats not usage.

IE/Firefox/Chrome = pretty much the same speed,same sh*t... fanboi fights are funny but competition is great though.

The chrome fanbois used to say the same thing about Firefox... now they just spew the same bs about chrome.

I don't blame webmasters for getting ticked, they are having to feed bandwidth without even a hit. Thanks to google trying to be the fastest. They put that burden on the hosters.
