I dislike Nissan's personally, had an altima and was trouble. I went with the Toyota Avalon as my choice over the maxima. But for 27k you can get a fully loaded Honda accord ex-l v6 w/ nav and all. Sticker is higher, but you can get it for 27.

a smart roadster? i saw one in person today, first time ever. looks pretty amazing, and i'd certainly rock it--if i found one & i was looking.

a ford focus? if i were buying a dd new, it'd be at or near the top of my list. all other aspects aside, the sentra looks clunky from the outside--and if it's my DD, i'm going to be seeing a lot of it. personally though, i'd probably opt for the 3-door over the 4-door...but they're both very nice.
