Watched what had to be at least my 10th movie about exorcism. A few minutes into it I realized that all the others were also about women. Are men not capable of being possessed?

The movie The Exorcist was based on the true exorcism of a boy in St. Louis. They changed it to a girl for the movie because it makes better ratings or something. All the other movies just followed suit.

The kid from The Omen was the son of the devil, not possessed by him. No amount of exorcising would have fixed it, he had to be killed.
