This is mine, you can see I just run the stock seat belt. Theres no need for a harness if you don't have a rollcage, you could get squished in a rollover.

For now with your stock seat you can slide it back a click or 2, pull hard and fast on the seat belt so it locks and then slide back forward.. helps to hold you in tight. little trick Maddog showed me last year.
Goallie...do your seats slide back and forth? Also, how did you mount the receiver for the belt...to the seat or the floor? I wanna be safe so I can see my 2 kids grow up![]()
They do, I am using the Corbeau brackets which is why I highly recommend against them... not for the sliding but because they suck.
For the receiver I just turned it around from the stock position, really the only way it would fit, bolted it back in and wala works perfectly.
Another good option I've seen are a pair of Evo seats.
I thought about the EVO Recaro seats. But the used ones don't look that great. Perhaps a set of Sparco Torino's would look nice and be comfortable. I am budgeting 1000-1500 for the seats installed that can recline and slide. Just wish there was like a shop that had all the seats stocked that I could try out.

took me a few weeks of diligent searching, finally found a mint set at a fantastic price and i pounced.
passenger seat is in, driver seat is going in this week. seats recline and slide, we modified the evo brackets to fit. swapping over the oem seat belt receivers to use the oem seat belts.

i should have installed pics tomorrow evening. after fabricating the brackets properly, the actual seat height is about the same, the rear-most part is slightly lower i believe.
there is no way i can see to reduce the total seat height substantially and still have a sliding seat, primarily due to the design of the car's floor.
i will note that my seats were fitted with the intention of wearing a helmet since i do put one on occasionally, i'm 6' 185lbs.
details and pics to follow tomorrow evening hopefully![]()
